Zed One Construction and Mining (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2015 by Mr Tim Tshisekedi, a young entrepreneur in response to the increasing unemployment rate in Africa. The founder’s vision was to pursue quality infrastructure development in Africa. The Company started with Civil engineering and building construction in South Africa as the core of its business.
In 2018 the board resolved to add mining related activities to the company operations and extend the services to other African Countries.

It is in that concept that the young entrepreneur opened a door for a young women to join the ownership of the company.

The company has fair policies with regard to gender equity, racial and ethnic representation. The selection of our staff member is based on merits not origins and we believe that women should be an integral part of the employment environment; hence, we have a substantial representation of women in our management structure.

Our main activities in Civil Engineering focus on roads, bridges water and sanitation, while in Building works, the focus is on commercial and residential building construction, renovations, and alterations. The Company is currently managed by a Director who has a BTech degree in Construction Management and over 10 years’ experience in civil engineering and building construction. He worked for both consulting and construction companies.
